Sorry, that's the only picture available. I'll keep looking...

Note: The adjective "mythical" was coined by Paolo Magnani and seems to be most adequate.

To collect complete biographical and discographical information about Pino Palladino seems to be intractable. So, I'll start out with a rather incomplete set of data and try to enhance it over the next months. Hope, he doesn't record too fast!

How about helping me with some more data?

I first hit on him while listening to some Paul Young songs on the radio (while working). There were some peculiar sounds coming from the speakers, later to be recognized as Palladino's fretless growl.

Later it was Tears for Fears' "Seeds of Love", which I borrowed from Thiemo Krink (ehm... Not only for spider lovers: I heavily recommend to check out Thiemo's cool home page!), together with Oleta Adams' "Circle of One".

And then it continued...

(Partial) Discography:

Thanks to Kristin Carson, Carl and Alexandra Casinghino, Chris Faulkner, Steve Hooper, Paolo Magnani and Frank J. Murrill for their help! Good Lord... This guy has played on more records than I have collected over the years! Well, not really :-)
